Terms of Service

Effective May 23, 2026. These terms govern your use of the ClearedToFile platform operated by Beach Street Labs LLC.

The service

ClearedToFile is a reconciliation platform for campaign finance. It compares filed campaign finance reports against bank activity and bookkeeping records, producing materiality-scored verdicts to support compliance review.

Eligibility

The platform is available to authorized representatives of campaign committees, political action committees, and state ethics commissions. By using ClearedToFile, you represent that you have authority to upload and reconcile financial data on behalf of your organization.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you upload. You agree not to upload fabricated, altered, or unauthorized financial records. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

What we provide

ClearedToFile provides reconciliation verdicts and materiality scoring as decision-support tools. Verdicts are not legal advice, audit opinions, or compliance certifications. They are one input into your review process. We do not replace your judgment, your auditor, or your legal counsel.

Data handling

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or use your data for purposes beyond reconciliation and verdict generation.

Limitation of liability

ClearedToFile is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beach Street Labs LLC is not liable for errors in reconciliation verdicts, filing outcomes, regulatory actions, or any damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding any claim.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or temporarily restrict access as needed to operate and improve the platform.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. On termination, your access to the platform will be revoked and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable data retention requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.
